For users without a custom avatar of their own, you will be displayed as a generic logo.

1. visit https://en.gravatar.com
2. sign up/register an account using your email
3. after successful registration, choose a picture for your email account. DONE!

Now, wherever you comment at any weblogs which are hosted by wordpress (like NBC Blog) and fill in your email address at the  email column of comment section, your picture will be automatically displayed!
