my gross salary is rm8,500 according to the employment with company.
but company paid rm 3,300 per month to me because company’s finace situation.
in a word, actual salary paid by company is rm3,300. in this case, how much should i pay personal tax?
Han, report what you have received from the company, even though the employment contract is stated more than what you received.
However, this is not a good sign to your employment if the company can not deliver what they promised to you. Based on my experience, except a very rare situations, most of the time the thing will only go worse, if not better.
