Appeal form for RM500 cash aid application rejected by MOF

Malaysian Government is progressively releasing the RM500 cash aid to its people since January 2012. However, some applications were rejected due to incorrect, incomplete or insufficient information given or attached with the application submitted.

You may appeal the case with MOF by giving more information and supporting documents or evidence (such as pay slip). All you need to do is to fill up the appeal form and submit to the nearest LHDN offices together with the relevant supporting documents.

BR1M RM500 cash aid application deadline extended to 10 February

The deadline for the public to submit the application form for the RM500 Bantuan Rakyat 1Malaysia (BR1M) scheme has been extended to Feb 10, 2012.

Second Finance Minister Datuk Seri Ahmad Husni Hanadzlah said the form could be submitted at all Inland Revenue Board (IRB) offices and agencies handling the aid.

FAQ: 13% employer EPF contribution from 1 Jan 2012

Members of the Employees Provident Fund (EPF) earning a monthly wage of not exceeding RM5,000 will be receiving a boost in their retirement savings when the revised employers’ statutory contribution rate of 13 percent takes effect from January 2012 wages.

The one per cent increase from the current 12 per cent will benefit 5.3 million working Malaysians, comprising 92 per cent of EPF’s active members. Meanwhile, the employees’ contribution rate remains at 11 percent.

Words you can’t use in your company’s name (unless approved by Minister)

There are some words required prior approval from the the Minister of Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs or from the relevant government agencies before you can use it in your new company’s name.
