Kuala Lumpur (19 Dec 2012): SOCSO (Social Security Organisation) is urging more clinics to participate as panel clinics under the Socso Free Health Screening Programme which starts in January.

KUALA LUMPUR (16 October 2012) : Some 1.9 million workers aged 40 and above who are contributors to the Social Security Organisation (Socso) are eligible for a free health screening beginning January next year.

Human Resource Minister Datuk Seri Dr S.Subramaniam said this was to identify those at risk of getting non-communicable diseases like high blood pressure, diabetes and heart disease, as well as to check cholesterol levels, and for prostate cancer in men and cervical/breast cancer in women through Pap smear/mammogram.  Continue reading →

KUALA LUMPUR (3 October 2012): STARTING Jan 1 next year, some 1.4 million private sector employees will enjoy free medical screening amounting to RM200 million, as announced by the prime minister in the 2013 Budget.
