{"id":2312,"date":"2012-04-12T10:51:51","date_gmt":"2012-04-12T02:51:51","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.nbc.com.my\/blog\/?p=2312"},"modified":"2014-07-05T02:15:30","modified_gmt":"2014-07-04T18:15:30","slug":"nbc-group-looking-for-licensed-company-secretary","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.nbc.com.my\/blog\/nbc-group-looking-for-licensed-company-secretary\/","title":{"rendered":"We invite Licensed Company Secretary to join NBC Group"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.nbc.com.my\/blog\/nbc-group-looking-for-licensed-company-secretary\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-2923\" title=\"nbc-man-woman-shake-hand\" src=\"https:\/\/www.nbc.com.my\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/12\/nbc-man-woman-shake-hand-300x199.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"199\" \/><\/a>In line with the Group&#8217;s expansion plan, we seek committed, self-motivated and diligent individuals to fill the following vacancies in NBC Group:<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>Company Secretary<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n<pre><strong>(Selangor - Damansara Utama (Uptown) - Petaling Jaya)<\/strong><\/pre>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Responsibilities:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Organising, preparing agendas for, and taking minutes of board meetings and annual general meetings (AGMs)<\/li>\n<li>Maintaining statutory books, including registers of members, directors and secretaries<\/li>\n<li>Dealing with correspondence, collating information and writing reports, ensuring decisions made are communicated to the relevant company stakeholders<\/li>\n<li>Contributing to meeting discussions as and when required, and advising members of the legal, governance, accounting and tax implications of proposed policies<\/li>\n<li>Monitoring changes in relevant legislation and the regulatory environment, and taking appropriate action<\/li>\n<li>Liaising with external regulators and advisers, such as lawyers and auditors<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Requirements:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>ICSA qualification and a member of MAICSA or a Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Secretarial \/ Law or its equivalent. If the latter, must be licensed by SSM<\/li>\n<li>At least 5 year(s) of working experience in Company Secretarial Firms<\/li>\n<li>Applicants must be willing to work in Damansara Utama (Uptown),Petaling Jaya<\/li>\n<li>Possess leadership qualities and able to lead and guide subordinates.<\/li>\n<li>Good interpersonal and communication skills.<\/li>\n<li>Meticulous and able to work independently in a fast-paced working environment.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<div>Interested?
